Video Production | Script Writing | Still Photo Gallery | Graphic Design | Stained Glass | Serendipity Koi
Every video project starts with a script. We have been creating scripts for video and television since 1990. The process starts with a meeting to share ideas in the Pre-Production Planning stage. We take your ideas and create an outline. Once the outline is tweaked, we create a working draft, combining words and audio with images on paper. From this we develop, if necessary, a storyboard. Next a shot list is created to match the desired visuals to the words. When the script meets your approval we begin the next phase; Production.
The script becomes the blueprint for the Production elements: narration, interviews, graphics and location shots. Every moment of the script is visualized and captured on tape or electronic media. These assets are gathered and inventoried in the most frugal fashion available. Once we have the shots and words, we move to the next phase; Post-Production.
During Post, the Editor takes the assets and puts them together in the editing suite. The editing suite is called a non-linear suite or NLE. Video and audio are captured in the computer memory of the NLE. The Editor combines these elements on a timeline as determined by the script. Finally, with your approval, the video is exported from the timeline to DVD and/or linear tape.
